What if we replace SEO?

Search engine optimization has been the corner stone of internet marketing for a very long time. There are statistics that actually show that SEO has promoted many small scale internet based businesses.. There are big companies that have remained so irresponsive to technology, ignored SEO and brushed the ideas aside that it was for small businesses that are now having it so rough penetrating the markets that have already been captured through the SEO ways. A lot of small and medium scale businesses that have grown on a platform of search engine optimization have captured a very big international market share in the niche markets that it is now going to be hard to imagine how the internet marketing will actually be without a sort of search engine optimization.

 Google is said to be planning a new strategic formula of showing the search engine results.

 The argument is that SEO has been abused. It has led to irrelevant results being ranked up there, hence making the search engines loose popularity. SEO has also been perceived to be very responsible for the many spam mails.

It is now confirmed that we will soon start seeing search results being based on the popularity of the sites. The more popular will be set to go to the top. It will now mean the death of the Keyword and its industry. There are other unconfirmed sources that argue that users of the search engines will be voting their favorite sites to the top.  It has been reported that all the other search engines are going to implement the same strategies as they have been approved in the industry.

We are yet to see what it will mean to replace SEO. Perhaps it will lead us to get back to square one in developing other innovative ways of internet marketing to support the small businesses.
