One thing that will make you prefer to get services or buy goods from a given company in the height of competition in a given market is the customer support system that is in place.
A good customer support system is the one that will make a customer feel at home even if he or she is offended by the company’s poor services.
No company should ignore the input of a customer support service. The most outsourced service in the world today is the customer support service.
The above scenario has been witnessed because customer care is hard to manage. When you have full staffroom with people who drive away customers, you expect that they may decide to run away, since at the moment, there are very few monopolies.
The world today is full of competition. The poor the services, the higher the chances of your customer going to the competitor
Before outsourcing the customer service job, you need to look at the following in the firms you approach
Reliability in Communication facilities
The communication facilities that the company is using must be top notch. If the line gets through for a customer seeking support, there must be no noise or break up of communication. The internet must also be fast and reliable.
The support staff must be fluent in the language
A good customer care staff must be well aware that dialects and accents affect communication. If you a British client and your customers are basically British, then the customer care staff in the outsourcing company must speak English that a British can identify with, if the accent is impossible to produce.
The support staff must be friendly
You can test the effectiveness of the customer care staff before you hire them by posing as one consumer of the services of the company you are given as referee. It is good to have a feel of the customers care services in the company by visiting or talking to them on phone.
