Happy New Years From VA4Growth!

As the New Year begins, it brings about both a time of reflection and an eager looking forward to whatever is next.

I had the opportunity to enjoy a quiet, peaceful holiday with my husband and little boy this year, which is not what I would call a frequent occurrence!  It was wonderful!

We have a tradition of making Belgium waffles with strawberries and cream for Christmas breakfast, with a side order of bacon for my husband, James, and coffee for myself

We stayed in our pj’s and watched our son enjoy his new train table and train set!  Gotta love Melissa & Doug!

We’ve just had a beautiful Thanksgiving season, and in this time of reflecting on what we are thankful for, I believe it is important to remember how we can be of service to one another as part of this great community that we are in here on earth.

We all need help to get through life, and when we have the option to give back, we get an extra benefit that I call ‘Givers Gain.’  It means that when you give, you get back even more.  It’s a universal law.  Have you ever experienced the feeling of goodwill? It is the same feeling you get when you see a child smile, a puppy wag, or a kitten purr.  It just makes you feel good.  Giver’s Gain is even more than that!
